Your First Appointment With Us

New patient appointments typically consist of a comprehensive visit or an emergency visit, see below for what to expect during your first visit.

Our new patient comprehensive visit has been carefully designed to give you the best start to your dental care with us.

This appointment will last approximately two hours, and here’s what to expect:

First Hour
We’ll begin with reviewing your dental and medical history then complete a series of X-rays, intraoral and extraoral photos, and a health scan to prepare for the doctor’s detailed exam.

Second Hour
You’ll meet with the doctor for a comprehensive evaluation, assess your oral health, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. At this time we will also do your cleaning.

Our emergency visit for new patients is designed to provide immediate relief and address urgent dental concerns. During this visit, we perform a focused examination of the affected area, take any necessary digital X-rays, and evaluate the best course of treatment to resolve pain or discomfort. We also discuss findings and provide recommendations or same-day treatment options when possible, ensuring you receive prompt and personalized care.

Financial Policy

We firmly believe that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining the treatment you desire. We are sensitive to the fact that each patient has different needs and have several payment options available so that treatment is accessible to everyone. All financial discussions and arrangements are kept strictly confidential.

Insurance Information

Dental insurance is diverse. Some policies cover only a small percentage of fees, while others cover 50 percent or greater. The more you or your employer pays for premiums, the better the coverage, in most cases. Dental insurance can be confusing, but we'll make it easy for you. Simply bring your card or claim into our office. We'll be happy to tell you what your insurance will cover and file your claim for you.
